Who we are

What we collect

Only what is needed to run the competition and to reach the parent or guardian. Nothing else is asked for, and nothing else is stored.

• The child's name, date of birth, gender, school name and address, and home address.
• The parent or guardian's name, relationship to the child, and WhatsApp number.
• The district, and the photograph of the drawing itself.
• Basic technical information — IP address, browser and device type, and how you arrived at this page — used to keep the site secure and to understand which of our posts brought people here.

We do not ask for an email address, a school class, a PIN code or a second phone number. Location data attached to your photograph by the camera is stripped from the image before it is stored.

Consent

An entry can only be submitted by a parent or guardian, who must tick the consent box on the form. That consent covers the submission itself and the WhatsApp messages described below. If you did not give that consent, tell us and we will remove the entry.

How it is used

• To register the entry and issue a Registration ID.
• To send the confirmation and the participation certificate to the guardian's WhatsApp number, and to contact you if the child is shortlisted.
• To judge the drawings. Judges see the artwork and the Registration ID; they do not see guardian phone numbers or addresses.
• To keep an anonymous count of entries by age, district and school for reporting on the competition.

We do not sell your information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

Two service providers, both only to the extent needed:

• Wati, our WhatsApp messaging provider, receives the guardian's number and the message content.
• Google Drive holds a private backup copy of each drawing, in a folder only our team can open.

Drawings are never published publicly on this website. If we would like to share a winning entry on our Instagram, we will ask the guardian first.

How long we keep it

Entry details and drawings are kept for the duration of the competition and for twelve months afterwards, so that certificates can be reissued and results verified. After that they are deleted, apart from anonymous counts that contain no personal information.

Your choices

Write to digital@rohancorporation.in with the Registration ID, and we will send you a copy of what we hold, correct anything that is wrong, or delete the entry entirely. To stop the WhatsApp messages, reply STOP to any of them or tell us and we will remove the number.

Cookies

This site sets two small first-party cookies. One is a random identifier used to count visits and to see where people leave the form — it is not linked to any name or number. The other remembers which of our posts you arrived from, for twelve hours. There are no advertising or third-party tracking cookies. A partly-filled form is saved in your own browser so you can come back to it; it is cleared as soon as the entry is submitted.
